Trichoderma- It is a biofungicide used to control soil borne diseases of pepper, ginger, turmeric and vegetables. It is multiplied with cowdung and neemcake before application in the field. It is technology of ICAR-NBAII ( National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Insects), Bengaluru. It should not be used along with chemical fertilizers, insecticides and fungicides. Vermi compost- A product of the decomposition of organic matter using earthworms. Improve soil aeration , water holding capacity, intakes of nutrients by plants and enrich microorganism in plants.
